Thierry Bégin-Lamontagne plays Canarios by Sanz on 3 guitars

Canadian guitarist Thierry Bégin-Lamontagne plays Canarios by Spanish Baroque composer Gaspar Sanz (1640 – 1710) at the Grand Guitar Salon over in Montreal, Québec, Canada. This comes via the Salon’s YouTube Channel with video and sound production by the amazing Drew Henderson. Three guitars are featured here: 1. Fernando Mazza 2017 Double cedar top (Italy); 2. Yulong Guo 2017 Double cedar top (China); 3. Constantin Dumitriu 2015 Solid cedar top (Romania).

Sheet Music: You can buy my edition of Canarios in my Gaspar Sanz Collection PDF which is closer to the original (watch my video of Canarios free). The version above is arranged for guitar by Narciso Yepes (1927–1997).

  1. I would like to purchase the cd or MP3 download of Thierry’s music especially Canarios, but it seems to be unavailable here in the states.
