Australian guitarist Stephanie Jones plays Five Bagatelles (1971) by English composer William Walton (1902-1983). This comes via Jones’ YouTube channel. Fantastic playing by this young artist who has the technique, musicality, but also digs in and takes risks. “Stephanie is currently in Germany studying a Masters in Classical Guitar Performance with Thomas Müller-Pering at the prestigious University of Music Franz Liszt.” Read more about Jones at her bio page. Walton is always good. Along with Nocturnal by Britten among other works, we are so lucky that Bream commissioned these works from such esteemed composers.
