SoloDuo Play Italian Concerto, BWV 971 by Bach

SoloDuo with Lorenzo Micheli and Matteo Mela perform Italian Concerto, BWV 971 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). Transcribed for two guitars by Lorenzo Micheli & Matteo Mela in three movements: I. Allegro, II. Andante, III. Presto. Always nice to hear the excellent SoloDuo and a full three movement performance. Brilliant playing with excellent motivic definition and ensemble balance. Recorded in Canada by Drew Henderson.

  1. Unbelievably beautiful playing! How in sync these 2 are. They make make it seem effortless; no score in front of them and 1 of the gentleman rarely even looking at the fingerboard. Wonderful sound!
