Schneiderman-Yamaya Duo Play Beethoven

Schneiderman-Yamaya Duo (John Schneiderman, Hideki Yamaya) play a 19th-century arrangements of Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827) on period replica guitars. Some arranged by composer and guitarist Ferdinando Carulli (1770–1841). Carulli was Italian-born but later based in Paris where he was very prolific. This is a promo vid for their duo so it’s just clips but a nice preview. FYI, if you didn’t see it last year, John Schneiderman did a great interview for the site. By the way, keep it straight: John Schneiderman vs John Schneider, both great guitarists.

Also, via Amazon, Stanley Yates has a nice book of period arrangements of Bethoven, Haydn, Mozart, and Rossini.
