Roland Dyens Plays Alba Nera at the 2013 CGR

Roland Dyens playing his own work ‘Alba Nera’ live at the Classical Guitar Retreat. The next retreat is July 2nd-7th, 2014 which is sure to be a blast. I should go there and be a student for a week  and try to have a nice glass of  scotch whiskey with artistic director Matthew McAllister! Matthew was in Victoria last year and did some great teaching! I didn’t get a chance to hear him perform but he played at bit to demo to a student and sounded amazing. Here’s a blurb: “CGR is a unique course set on a beautiful Scottish Island with some of the very best performers and educators working to guide, educate and inspire students of the Classical Guitar!” via cgretreat.com
