Peter Graneis Plays Weiss

Peter Graneis plays Courante from Suite XVIII (originally G major) by Silvius Leopold Weiss (1687 – 1750). This comes via Siccas Guitars and their great YouTube channel. Really nice playing here by Graneis with some excellent cross-string ornaments and clean, crisp but still elegant delivery. Weiss is so smooth and flowing in this later galant sytle of the Baroque but Graneis keeps the pulse strong and forward moving. Would love to hear him play all the movements. Played on a on a Armin Hanika 1a Lattice classical guitar.
