Pavel Steidl plays Giuliani Concerto in A, Op. 30

Excellent performance of Mauro Giuliani’s Guitar Concerto No. 1 in A major, Op. 30. Nice to hear it on period guitar. This is pretty much every one of Giuliani’s pieces rolled into one concerto. If my memory servers me correctly (via the Heck book on Giuliani), Giuliani himself actually performed this work at Haydn’s 70th birthday celebration.

Fabulous Czech virtuoso guitarist Pavel Steidl performing Mauro Giuliani – Guitar Concerto No. 1 in A major, Op. 30, on Moscow International “Guitar Virtuosos” 2011 festival.
