Indonesian guitarist, Nabila Rifda Alfiani plays Concertino by Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856). This comes via the Paris Guitar Foundation and their amazing YouTube channel. The PGF Series, directed by Augustin Pesnon, showcases guitarists from around the world with high quality videos. Video shot in shot in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Great musicality and some amazing technique displays (her fantastically clean and fast octaves for example). Looking forward to hearing more from this amazing young artist.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and shared it with my students in Bangladesh. This will be a great inspiration to them.
Have to ask ,why do the two low strings flex around ,as though there lose.seen it many a video
I think that has to do with the string vibrating faster than the frame rate of the camera. It doesn’t look like that in real life.
