Oman Kaminsky & Robbin Blanco play Am grabe der Geliebten by Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856). This comes via Kaminsky’s YouTube channel. I’ve always loved these duets for guitar and terz guitar (a terz can be imitated by placing a capo at 3rd position). Much more convenient if you have a terz though. I’m assuming that Blanco is playing the guitar that Kaminsky was playing in last week’s feature, a Jan Tulacek, after J. G. Shertzer. Also that Kaminsky is on a terz. Nice strong accents and tight formation of the duo and sweet exchanges of melodic material.
