Montengrin Guitar Duo Plays Piazzolla

Montengrin Guitar Duo (Goran Krivokapić and Danijel Cerović) play Tango Suite (I. Deciso, II. Andante, III. Allegro) by Astor Piazzolla (1921–1992). Great video with dancers too, directed by Augustin Pesnon. The dancers are Kira Makarova and Rachid Abjelout. This comes via the Paris Guitar Foundation and their YouTube channel series. Piazzolla was an Argentine composer and bandoneon player. His works formed new style nuevo tango, incorporating elements from traditional tango, jazz, and classical music. We are very lucky to have authentic guitar works written by him. You can get the sheet music via Amazon: Tango Suite for guitar duo by Piazzolla
