Marcello Fantoni performs Overture in A Major No.1, Op.6 and Grande Sonata in C Major. Op. 114 by Ferdinando Carulli (1770-1841) on a period François René Lacôte, 1820 guitar. This comes via Edoardo Lambertenghi’s YouTube channel. I love these performances by Fantoni of Classical and Romantic works played on a period guitar. His performances are filled with a wonderful musicality and playful energy that mixes so well with the plucky sound of the nineteenth century guitar.
