McAllister Lesson: Vibrato on Guitar

Matthew McAllister gives a lesson on vibrato for guitar. This comes via the excellent Siccas Guitars and their fantastic YouTube channel. Great lesson with much information regarding the bigger-picture in terms of using vibrato in the context of music in general. If you’re looking for a technique book you can check out my review of classical guitar technique and exercise books.

Matthew is a fantastic performer and down to earth guy. Above all, Matthew is always super musical so I love his well-rounded lessons. “As an educator Matthew holds the posts of Classical Guitar Tutor and Lecturer in Music at the University of St Andrews & Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and most recently established he Classical Guitar Retreat which presents a residential summer course on the Island of Cumbrae off the West Coast of Scotland.” – Read more at his bio page.
