This is a popular little work found in many books. Some fingering and ornamentation is discussed but the main thing is work on the phrasing of the melody while maintaining the pulse. Calvi was an Italian guitarist and editor. Intavolatura di chitarra, e chitarriglia has instruction on tuning, reading tablature, and a nice collection of works for guitar.
