Julio Salvador Sagreras (22 November 1879 – 20 July 1942) was an Argentine guitarist, pedagogue, and composer. His many lessons are contained in a multi-volume method book that includes numerous studies. Schott description: “Ever since they were published, these studies, influenced by Aguado, but with an added Latin flavour, have always retained their popularity with pupils and teachers alike. An ideal and natural way of learning the basic skills of the classical guitar.”
Thank you Brad I’ve been playing for awhile but your lesson on left hand position was very useful.
Thanks so much Werner. I am an 81 year old retired physicist who is obsessed by the classical guitar. I have learned much from your website and appreciate you and the work you do.
I really appreciate all your time and effort, not only when you initially put in your “10,000 hours” but then to pass along your expertise without ever pushing the monetary side of things…a pure academic! Amazon Gift Card in the mail. (31 July, 2021)
