Kevin Loh performs Etude No.5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959) on classical guitar. This comes via Loh’s YouTube channel. This etude has always been one of my favourites from the set, exploring more of the polyphonic aspects of the instrument. Great control by Loh over the meditative balance and some very nice musical contrasts from textures of brooding tension to sweet melodic material.
