Kassandra Siebel Plays Brouwer

Kassandra Siebel plays Sonata Fandangos y Boleros by Leo Brouwer on a 2018 Francois Regis Leonard guitar. This comes via the excellent Siccas Guitars in Germany and their YouTube. Great performance with a nice combination of virtuosity and elegance. Here’s some of her bio from her website:

Kassandra Siebel (Germany) was born 1993 in Toulouse (France). She started playing the guitar at the age of 7 years being taught by Pia Gazarek-Offermann. Since 2009 she is a student of Prof. Thomas Offermann, from 2009 to 2013 within the “Young Academy Rostock” and then at the University HMT of Rostock. She has been a scholarship holder of the foundation “Oscar und Vera Ritter-Stiftung” between 2011 and 2014, since 2014 she is a scholarship holder of the foundation “YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now”. Her CD “Premiere” was released in 2015.
