10-year-old Kang Min Ji plays the Prelude from Lute Suite No. 4, BWV 1006a by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750). This comes via the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA and their Youtube Channel. I like featuring youth on the site not only to support them but to also see how they go about accomplishing goals and technique. Great technique here and a pretty solid rhythmic drive. At only 10 years old I’m impressed and look forward to more videos to see how he progresses. His fingerings look very Koonce-ian but who knows, probably a mash up. You can get the sheet music via Amazon: Bach Lute Suites (Koonce).
