Josh Moore plays Drei Tentos (1958) by German composer Hans Werner Henze (1926–2012). Henze wrote quite a few works for guitar which is amazing since he is such an important composer and didn’t play himself. Bream is to thank for it. You also check out his Royal Winter Music for guitar or Kammermusik which includes guitar. Drei Tentos was interspersed between movements of Kammermusik. I love Henze, one of my favourite composers of the period. He has all the modern language but a great sense of melodic beauty all wrapped up in a very musically concise delivery. This comes to us via Guitar Salon International and their YouTube Channel. Josh is trying out a 2014 Matthew Chaffin.
