Jeongmin Hong (Clarinet) and Ahhyun Noh (Guitar) perform the third movement, Nightclub 1960 (above), and Cafe 1930 (below) from L’Histoire du Tango by Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla (1921–1992). This comes via Partita Studio in Seoul, Korea on their YouTube. I see this work posted very often but rarely with clarinet which is a welcome change. It’s originally scored for flute and guitar but is often played on a variety of instruments. Great performance here with such energized rhythmic clarity and guitar work by Ahhyun Noh and gorgeous clarinet phrasing by Jeongmin Hong.
