Big thanks to Mark and Mike for sending these stands to me via my gift registry on the support page. The Hercules Tripod Base Hideaway Boom Stand MS533B features the Hideaway Boom and can easily be converted to a boom or straight stand. It also features EZ Mic Clip, 2-in-1 Boom Clamp, and EZ Clutch. It’s not the lightest stand but I think it’s pretty light considering how sturdy it is and the features it includes.

The Hercules book stand has it all: quick to adjust, super sturdy, compact, innovative, and transportable. The best stand on the market.

Features

  • The EZ Clutch easily adjusts and securely locks to desired height. This feature is fantastic, for quick and easy adjustments it’s far better than a screw adjustment.
  • The 2-in-1 Boom Clamp with Single Knob Adjustment safely secures boom length and angle. I LOVE how big this adjustment knob is, easy to grab and make adjustments quickly without breaking a nail.
  • The 2-in-1 Boom Clamp converts stand from straight stand to a boom stand quickly and easily. Amazing, all stands should work like this. Much more compact and clean to transport.
  • The EZ Adaptor Flip Clip quickly secures mic clip in place and fits all standard size mic stands. I use big condenser mics at home but for gigs this quick clip would save a ton of time.
  • Height: 1070-2400 mm (42.1-94.5″)
  • Weight: 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs.)
  • Base radius: 340 mm (13.4″)
  • Boom length: 780 mm (30.7″)
