Henderson – Farintosh Play Intermezzo No.2, Op.118 by Brahms

Canadian guitarists Drew Henderson and Simon Farintosh perform Intermezzo No.2, Op.118 by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897). This comes via Henderson’s excellent YouTube channel. Great performance with excellent ensemble balance by Henderson and Farintosh. The video is dedicated to the memory of guitarist Dr. Alexander Dunn, who passed away in May. I haven’t written anything about Alex for lack of words but this is a nice little tribute to him. I knew Alex for around 25 years and studied under him long ago. I’ll try remember him for all our fun camping trips, weekend long movie director binges, and performances together. Of extra interest is that I taught Simon when he was a youth student and later Simon went on to study with Alex. Generations!
