Gig & Student Works: Georgia On My Mind

A new section of the site is Gig and Student Works where I’ll be making videos of some of my favorite material for my students for casual gigs. I like this arrangement of  Georgia On My Mind for guitar as it is simple enough for students or to read at casual gigs. Here’s some info via wiki: “Georgia on My Mind” is a song by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorrell, closely associated with the cover version by Ray Charles, a native of Georgia, who recorded it for his 1960 album The Genius Hits the Road. It became the official state song of the State of Georgia in 1979.
