Joël Impérial (Viola) and Gilbert Impérial (Guitar) perform Sonata for viola and guitar in D minor I – Molto moderato by Ferdinand Rebay (1880-1953). This comes via Gilbert Impérial’s YouTube channel with video & audio by Drew Henderson. Ferdinand Rebay was an Austrian composer, music teacher, choir director, and pianist. He has a number of works with guitar included and did more with the guitar in chamber music than many composer of the time who generally regulated it to chords and arpeggios.
