Tsunehito Tsuchihashi and Gaku Yamada perform Emotional Expression Etudes by Daisuke Terauchi (b.1974). This comes via Gaku Yamada’s YouTube. I know this might not be everyone’s cup of tea but what an interesting and diverse set of works. Great performance here with lots of precision and, well, expression. Excellent guitar writing and playing later on as well, reminds me of some old John Weinzweig pieces my trio used to play.
