Duo Françaix (Isabella Selder and Eliška Lenhartová) playing No. II Oriental from Danzas Españolas Op. 37 (originally for piano) by Spanish composer Enrique Granados (1867-1916). Isabella plays on a 1981 Dominique Field and Eliška on a 2015 Ennio Giovanetti guitar. I must admit that I’m not always interested in hearing more of these heavily played Danzas Españolas but these two players have such nice sound and phasing that they really grabbed my attention. Good musicianship can always win me over. This video is via the Siccas Guitars and their fantastic YouTube channel.
