Canadian flute and guitar ensemble Duo Calixa with Kelly Williamson (flute) and Mariette Stephenson (guitar) play Algodão doce by Celso Machado (b.1953). This comes via Stephenson’s YouTube channel. Machado is a Brazilian guitarist, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist who lives in Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada. I met Machado a number of times and seen his concerts which are amazing, some of the most fun I’ve ever had at concerts. Video by the great Drew Henderson.
