Drew Henderson plays Allegro from BWV 1003 by Bach

Canadian guitarist Drew Henderson plays the Allegro from Violin Sonata no. 2 BWV 1003 by J.S. Bach (1685-1750). Drew continues to amaze us with his excellent playing but the icing on the cake is the production value. Great playing, great sound, great video. I really like his phrasing and sequences as well as the fun articulations throughout.

You can read off the violin score for free or pick up a guitar version via amazon. Also, please check out Drew’s new album on itunes.

  1. Wow, I wasn’t too sure about this when I saw his photo, but when I watched his playing I was very jealous. Such fine balance of tone, expression. I wonder what guitar that is, I think I have 8 string envy too 😉
