Beijing Guitar Duo Play Tedesco

The fantastic Beijing Guitar Duo with Meng Su and Yameng Wang play Prelude and Fugue in B Major and E Major from Les Guitares bien tempérées (The Well-Tempered Guitars), Op. 199 which is 24 preludes and fugues in all 24 major and minor keys by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (1895–1968). This comes via their amazing YouTube channel and was recorded live in Monterrey, Mexico. I love the Beijing Duo’s playing. I’ve seen them live and have written about them before. Shocking technique, amazing musicality, and super tight ensemble playing. From great memory to matched articulations and phrasing, they are one my favourite groups at a virtuosity level to match the rest of the instrumental classical world.
