Beginner Arpeggio Exercises & Lesson for Guitar

This is a new video lesson for my ebook: 20 Favorite Exercises for Classical Guitar – For beginner to intermediate classical guitarists (Includes: notation, TAB, fingerings, practice tips). I’ve been meaning to re-record some of these with better video.

This exercise, No. 4 – Basic Arpeggios + Full & Sequential Planting, aims to even out the balance in your arpeggios. Each finger is given a chance to be the prominent voice. I also give a brief explanation of full and sequential planting for classical guitar. It has been explained many times before but I certainly hope the video clarifies the issue as writing about right hand planting can be confusing.

Here’s an older video on the same exercise.
