Basic Right Hand Technique for Classical Guitar

This is a video I made for my beginner students. It includes multiple camera angles and, more importantly, the viewing perspective of the player. I thought this would be more helpful than trying to imitate a teacher from across the room. However, a qualified teacher is more valuable than any video so go take some lessons as well. Level: Beginner or intermediate and cross-over students. Main points (things I say 100 times): comfortable arch to the wrist, fingers move in toward the palm, direct the functional pressure in toward the guitar. If you’re looking for a technique book you can check out my review of classical guitar technique and exercise books.
