Heinrich Marschner (1795-1861) was a German composer best known for his operas. He is considered to be the most important composer of German opera between Weber and Wagner, read more at his Wiki. These are firmly at the intermediate level without much awkwardness and, depending on your tempo and desired refinement, have a few small challenges that simply require solid practice. The pieces can also offer opportunities to display some performance flare of higher levels.
