Austin Classical Guitar Presents HOPE

Austin Classical Guitar recently presented a live stream concert devoted to hope. It was a big international event featuring 16 artists from around the world (see performer list below) and full length concert at 1 hour 24 minutes. Each artist gives a little introduction followed by some performances. Some real heartfelt messages and wonderful performances throughout. Introduction by Executive Director Matthew Hinsley and Artistic Director Joseph Williams II. This comes via the ACG’s fantastic Youtube channel (go subscribe).

The performers introduce themselves but here is an alphabetical list: Jorge Caballero (Perú), Raphaël Feuillâtre (France), Ioana Gandrabur (România), Dieter Hennings (Mexico), Ekachai Jearakul (Thailand), Celil Refik Kaya (Turkey), Irina Kulikova (Russia), João Luiz (Brazil), Bahar Ossareh (Iran/Canada), David Russell (Scotland), An Tran (Vietnam), Xuefei Yang (China), and including four young artists from the United States: Aytahn Benavi, Emilia Diaz Delgado, Damian Goggins, and Eric Wang.

Bradford Werner is a classical guitarist and music publisher from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He originally created this site for his students at the Victoria Conservatory of Music but now shares content worldwide. Curating guitar content helps students absorb the culture, musical ideas, and technique of the classical guitar. Bradford also has a YouTube channel with over 94,000 subscribers and 13 million views. He taught classical guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music for 16 years and freelanced in Greater Victoria for 20 years and now dedicates much of his time curating content online and helping connect the classical guitar community.
