Spanish guitarist Andrea González Caballero, currently based out of Germany, plays Estudio de Escalas by Joaquín Clerch (b. 1965) on a 2015 Ennio Giovanetti. This comes via the amazing Siccas Guitars and their fantastic YouTube channel. Siccas is THE online source for videos these days. Via her bio page: “Andrea began studying guitar at the age of 7 with Ana Maria Caballero at the Andres Eguiguren music school in Eibar. At the age of 12 she received lessons from teachers Bienvenido Rodriguez and Carmen Becerra. In 2010 she began her studies in the Robert Schumann Music Conservatory where she finished her bachelor degree under the tutelage of the world renowned guitarist and teacher, Joaquin Clerch, where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree. The Cuban guitarist/composer Joaquín Clerch was born in Havana, Cuba, where he was later to receive the Cuban government’s highest artistic award, the “Orden por la cultura nacional”. He studied guitar, music and composition in Havana, graduating from the Art University of Havana in 1989.

Bradford Werner is a classical guitarist and music publisher from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He originally created this site for his students at the Victoria Conservatory of Music but now shares content worldwide. Curating guitar content helps students absorb the culture, musical ideas, and technique of the classical guitar. Bradford also has a YouTube channel with over 94,000 subscribers and 13 million views. He taught classical guitar at the Victoria Conservatory of Music for 16 years and freelanced in Greater Victoria for 20 years and now dedicates much of his time curating content online and helping connect the classical guitar community.
