Ana Vidovic plays Gran Sonata Eroica, Op.150 by Mauro Giuliani (1781–1829) via the Lisker Music Foundation Concert Series on Youtube, Nichols Hall in Evanston, IL. I haven’t heard Vidovic for awhile, I appreciate the crisp, clean, and rhythmic playing which fits with Giulaini. Anything overly Romantic in style tends to slow the momentum in Giuliani’s somewhat bloated works. One of Giuliani’s better works for sure.
