British guitarist Alexandra Whittingham plays Asturias (Leyenda) – No. 5 from Suite Española, Op. 47 by Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909). This comes via her YouTube channel. Nice clean and direct performance of the first section with a beautiful contrasting expressive section. I’ve posted a number of videos of Whittingham back to when she was 17, interesting to see young artists progress through the years. Great filming location in the Medieval town of Puy-l’Eveque, South-West France with video by Tom Gradwell.
