American guitarist Adam Kossler plays Polka from Dances of the Dolls by Russian (Soviet era) composer Dimitri Shostakovich (1906–1975). Arrangement by John Kossler (brother I assume). This comes via Kossler’s YouTube channel. Audio and Video by the amazing Canadian guitarist/audio-visual wizard Drew Henderson. I’m always suspicious of hearing guitar arrangements of the big Soviet era composers but this one’s light and articulated texture fits well. I’ve been loving all the recent videos of Kossler (working towards an album of arrangements?).
